INFRASTRUCTURE & OPERATIONS

Managed hosting, backup and security for controlled business continuity.

We host and manage applications, business systems, websites and e-commerce platforms. Server environments, monitoring, updates, backups and recovery plans are defined for each project.

INFRASTRUCTURE & OPERATIONS 3 STEPS
  1. Environments and access
  2. Monitoring and backups
  3. Recovery and evolution

An engagement to define around your data and your process.

RECOGNISE THE PROBLEM

The service is online. But who is looking after it?

The work does not end at launch. We support websites, e-commerce platforms and applications from release through ongoing operations, defining environments, access, controls, backups and response procedures before they become an emergency.

WHEN IT MAY HELP

When an online service is critical to day-to-day work, but hosting, updates, backups and operational responsibilities are spread across providers or lack a clear owner.

  • Production without a clear owner

The provider, domain and application have different contacts, making it unclear who should act when something changes.

  • Backups that have never been tested

Backups appear to be active, but timing, retention and the restore procedure have not been tested on the live service.

  • Scattered updates and access credentials

Credentials, patches and maintenance windows rely on people’s memory instead of a shared operating model.

FROM THE PROBLEM TO THE FIRST ACTION

Continuity is designed before an incident occurs.

We start with the service’s criticality and define proportionate controls and responsibilities, rather than applying the same formula to every infrastructure.

  1. We assess the service and responsibilities

We map the architecture, providers, access, dependencies and the impact of downtime or data loss.

  2. We configure operational oversight

We define environments, updates, monitoring, alerts, backups and safeguards appropriate to the scope.

  3. We document and test

We prepare the recovery plan and response procedures, test what has been agreed and review the service as it evolves.

WHAT THE ENGAGEMENT INCLUDES

Availability, data and response procedures need explicit rules.

Activities and conditions are defined around the actual case before the proposal.

Activities to include in the scope

  • Configuration of hosting, server environments, domains and access
  • Technical monitoring, logs and alerts within the agreed scope
  • Updates, security measures and planned maintenance
  • Backups, retention, recovery planning and restore tests

To assess together

  • Providers, architecture, domains and external dependencies
  • Data criticality, retention and recovery objectives
  • Roles, access, maintenance windows and service levels

Managed hosting does not mean absolute security or uninterrupted availability. Frequencies, retention, response times, recovery objectives and high-availability services are defined and priced for the specific context.

EVIDENCE, NOT PROMISES

One accountable partner, from release to ongoing operations.

We support the technical continuity of Shopyfarm, Stellina, Centro Studi Lambda and Giovecca within their respective agreed scopes. For the F24 deadline management system developed for Progetto Soluzione, we also provide hosting, backups and operational oversight alongside development.

Activities, frequencies and service levels vary by application and contract. For Shopyfarm, ZenCode’s scope remains limited to the connector commissioned by WNDR.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before we begin, let’s clarify.

A few answers to help you get to know us.

Ask ZenCode a question
Do you also manage applications developed by other teams?

We assess the architecture, access, dependencies and condition of the software before proposing to take it on. Some applications require an initial review or remediation phase before they can be managed.

Does having a backup always guarantee recovery?

No. A backup protects a copy of the data; recovery also requires priorities, responsibilities, procedures and tests aligned with the expected timeframe. These elements are agreed and documented in the recovery plan.

Is support available 24 hours a day?

Only when covered by a specific service level. Hours, channels, priorities and response times are defined in the proposal; round-the-clock availability is not assumed.
